This Privacy Policy describes how DriveTech Solutions Inc. d/b/a Mobile Auto Repair (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at mobileautorepair.com, our mobile apps (MAR Technician, MAR Customer, MAR Admin), and related services.

When you use our website, we may collect:

  • Service Request Form: Name, email, phone number, address, vehicle information (year, make, model, trim), service description, and urgency level when you submit a service request at mobileautorepair.com/book-now.
  • Contact Preferences: Whether you opt in to promotional emails and text notifications.
  • Guest Checkout: Email and payment information when you pay as a guest without creating an account.
  • Contact Forms: Information you provide when contacting us through website forms.

SMS/Text Messaging

When you opt in to receive text notifications from Mobile Auto Repair, we use your phone number to send transactional SMS messages related to your service request and booking. These messages include:

  • Booking confirmations when you submit a service request
  • Links to view your estimate and complete payment (deposit and final invoice)
  • Service status updates (e.g., technician on the way, job completion)

Consent: We only send SMS messages to customers who have explicitly opted in through our service request form at mobileautorepair.com/book-now. During the form submission process, you must actively select “Yes” to the text notification consent question.

Opt-out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP.

Carrier: We use Twilio to deliver SMS messages. Twilio’s privacy policy applies to their handling of message data: twilio.com/legal/privacy.

MAR Technician App

When you use the MAR Technician app, we may collect:

  • Photos: Profile photo and inspection photos you upload in connection with vehicle inspections.
  • Device Information: Device token for push notifications, device type, and operating system version.
  • Location Data: Your device’s location when you use features such as starting a job, confirming arrival at a customer’s location, or “On the Way” tracking. Location is used to verify job attendance and to share your position with customers so they can track your arrival.
  • Profile Information: Name, phone number, city, state, zipcode, and profile photo that you provide in your technician profile.
  • Account Information: Email address, username, and password you use to log in.

MAR Customer App

When you use the MAR Customer app, we may collect:

  • Account Information: Name, email, phone number, and password when you register.
  • Profile Information: Address, saved vehicles, and contact preferences you provide or update.
  • Booking & Payment Data: Your service bookings, estimates, invoices, payment history, and related information.
  • Device Information: Device token for push notifications, device type, and operating system version.

MAR Admin App

When you use the MAR Admin app, we may collect:

  • Account Information: Email address, username, and password you use to log in.
  • Profile Information: Name, phone number, and company information you provide.
  • Device Information: Device token for push notifications, device type, and operating system version.
  • Business Data: Access to and interaction with booking data, technician assignments, and company settings managed through the app.

Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)

If you enable Face ID or Touch ID for faster login in our apps, your login credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your biometric data. Biometric authentication is processed entirely on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our mobile auto repair services
  • To process service requests, bookings, estimates, and payments
  • To communicate with you about your services (including via email and SMS when you opt in)
  • To assign jobs to technicians and display job details to customers
  • To share technician location with customers when “On the Way” tracking is enabled
  • To send push notifications about job updates, reminders, and service-related alerts
  • To process payouts and maintain work history (technicians)
  • To authenticate you and manage your account
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We share information only as follows:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party services for hosting (website and API servers), payment processing (Stripe), SMS messaging (Twilio), and push notifications (Apple Push Notification service). These providers process data on our behalf under agreements that protect your information.
  • Technicians & Customers: When you are assigned to a job, customers may see your name and, when you enable “On the Way” tracking, your approximate location. Customers’ contact and vehicle information is shared with technicians assigned to their jobs.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit. Passwords are hashed and stored securely. Please use a strong password and keep your login credentials private.

5. Your Choices

  • Account and data deletion: You may request that we delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@mobileautorepair.com.
  • Location: You can disable location services for our apps in your device settings; however, some features (such as starting a job or arrival confirmation) may require location access.
  • Push notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
  • Text messages: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message.
  • Profile updates: You can update your profile information (phone, address, photo) in the app or by contacting us.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
